Aesop Rock has just been the most accomplished painter of pictures, the other version of Eminem’s, “Y’all ain’t even impressed no more.” And while it can be easy to forget just how incredible Eminem is because we are, indeed, “Used to it,” with Aesop Rock it felt like he never got thin and rarely even felt less inspired, only starting to show his age as an artist in mild, subdued ways.
