Well, I didn’t expect to be blown away by Elden Ring. On the PS4. But consider me blown away. The beginnings to Dark Souls and Dark Souls II, as well as Bloodborne, which are the ones I’ve played at least a little of, were stunning, but this . . . this is just showing off, and pulling open that door after I spent the extra ten minutes doing the training challenges, in the big hole in the ground, after just darkness and dreariness for probably thirty minutes, and finally seeing the great, golden field, which is what I was expecting, anyway, I actually was walking around as if I was finally set free from a jail, or something.
