Better Call Saul might be the best show ever.

I know I was talking about Twin Peaks, back there, but this multicolored rollercoaster down the depths of human emotion is so on par with Breaking Bad, it’s stumbling and pushing that show off the stage. In one episode, Jimmy McGill, the title character but not yet mostly going by the later moniker, gets onto a bus of old people stopped on a fake breakdown paid for by Jimmy McGill. There, he approaches one of them with his whirlwind pitch to be a part of a class-action lawsuit against their retirement home company, but he performs it so that it’s almost a show with the whole bus, and starts the festivities off by saying not to imagine an old woman being robbed at g**point by the retirement home company, and then ends by asking her to imagine him as her beloved nephew. It’s the most sublime stretch of persuasion, and I would wager humanity, you’ll ever see on Television.
